The SERVICE-REISEN Group, with its headquarter in Giessen, Germany, and its associated companies, is responsible for the operation of the websites. This data protection information explains how your personal data is collected, processed and used when you visit the websites at www.servicereisen.com and/or register with your personal login.

The purpose of the SERVICE-REISEN Group websites is to inform customers, partners and interested parties about the SERVICE-REISEN CH GMBH range of products and services and to provide a simple enquiry facility. Furthermore, order-related pictures and travel documents can be obtained via the download center after registration. SERVICE-REISEN Group operates exclusively in the B2B sector and therefore not with end customers or travel guests.

4. What information do we collect from you?

a) General and technical data - Server log data

In order to make your visit to our website as pleasant as possible, general information about the device you are using as well as your IP address and browser type is collected for technical reasons when you visit the website. The data collected includes (not an exhaustive list):

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • accessed URL
  • Internet page from which the request originates
  • transferred data volumes
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This is indispensable information that is automatically collected in our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) f) DSGVO) and stored in server log files.

b) Use of our contact forms / non-binding enquiry

We provide contact forms on our websites for non-binding offer enquiries. When using these contact forms, in addition to your contact details, we also process travel data and selected bookable options. The provision of this data is necessary for the processing and answering of your enquiry - without the provision of this data, we will not be able to answer your enquiry, or at best only to a limited extent.

The data collected includes all the data you provide when filling in the forms, such as (not an exhaustive list):

  • Group name, contact person, address and contact details
  • Trip description, number of persons and rooms, dates
  • special requirements, wishes, other remarks
  • selected, bookable options
  • Date and time of your request

Your data will be deleted after 6 months at the latest, provided that your enquiry has been conclusively answered and there are no legal obligations to retain the data, such as in the case of any subsequent contract processing.

We will treat your request as a pre-contractual measure (Art. 6 (1) b) DSGVO).

The personal data you submit is processed and protected in encrypted form. Despite extensive technical and organisational security precautions, it is possible that data may be lost or intercepted and/or manipulated by unauthorised persons. We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent this within the system. However, your device is outside the security perimeter that we can control. It is your responsibility as the user to inform yourself about the necessary security measures and to take appropriate measures in this regard.

c) Use of the download center

On our website we provide a download center for our contract customers, through which they can obtain order-related images and travel documents after registration. When using the download center, in addition to your user login data, consisting of your e-mail address and a password, we also process login and usage data of the download center.

The legal basis for the processing is the fulfilment of our contractual obligations towards you (Art. 6 (1) b) DSGVO).
